BARNS CAMPSITE - A brand new site, now open to the public
Your stay in the Highlands...
Imagine, waking up to the beautiful Highland country side. The birds are singing and in the distance you hear the river Nairn. Once up, you stretch out and take a stroll through the nature park or along the river just before breakfast. Then, onto cooking your bacon and eggs while you plan your day, or just laze it away in the peace and quiet of the Site as you can always explore more of the Highlands the next day…
Truly away from it all, Barns Campsite just outside the beautiful historic town of Nairn offers something for everyone: romantic breaks for couples or families on summer holiday, campers not bothered by school terms, walkers, keen fishers, bird spotters and of course those celebrating something special.
No matter why you are staying, all we want to do is to “Contribute to making happy memories every day”.
Keep up to date with our latest news

What better to do on a wonderful sunny day then sampling the best ice cream in Nairn. James’s at the putting green and next to the beach has wonderful home made ice cream. I had two scoops, chocolate and caramel crisp. Just a delight. If you are not so much into ice cream you can try one of their wonderful waffles or drink a cup of coffee. Then afterwards, burn of those calories on the beach.
Happy Campers at the NC500: If you are coming from the East Coast to start your NC500 adventure, Barns Highland is located a short distance from Nairn.
